This gorgeous frame is a real work of art.  It was hand carved out of wood in Thailand but replicating Burmese architecture.  It is showing off the richness of the artifacts found in royal palaces and temple in Burma and Thailand.  The frame was covered with gold leaf and exquisitely decorated with color glass to represent real jewels used in ancient days.  Each piece of glass was individually cut and applied by hand.

The frame was painstaking carved by hand.   The intricate work of these sculptures can be done by only skilled artists as there is no mold to work with, just talent and vision.  The meticulous details will be much appreciated when it is in front of you as pictures can not do justice to the carving on these pieces. They compliment any style of décor, from traditional to contemporary.
